I've been employed with GSCS since 2017, working at the service centre as a Journeyman Electrician. The loves of my life are my wife Ashley, and my 2 daughters Emma and Hannah. I'd like to thank our members for giving me the opportunity to serve on our executive, as Shop Steward for this term.

I am blessed to be a member of CUPE Local 3730. I have served in various Union positions throughout the years as Shop Steward from 2009-2011 and 2016-2017 and as a Trustee from 2011-2016. Currently I serve our local as the Secretary Treasurer, a position I have had since 2017. I have been a representative for our Local on both the Labour Relations Committee (2010 to 2018) and the Workplace Safety Committee (fall of 2013 to 2018) in the past and I have once again been elected as a member of the Negotiations Committee for the next round of bargaining. My current position with the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Board is as Building Operator at Bethlehem Catholic High School. It truly is an honour to continue to work for you, the members of this local.

I have been with GSCS since 2002 and have served on the executive for 19 years as both a Shop Steward and Recording Secretary. I have been married to my lovely wife, Natalie, for 22 years and am a father to two boys. Gordon, my oldest, is working towards being a Journeyperson Mechanic and Ethan, my youngest, is in Edwards School of Business and plays football for the Huskies. We have one dog named Chewbacca. I thank the membership for giving the me opportunity to serve for all these years and into the future.

I became a member of Local 3730 in 2024 and am currently employed as a Building Service Helper. I am temporarily serving as the Head Caretaker at the Service Centre. I am committed to ensuring smooth facility operations while prioritizing the welfare of workers. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and spending quality time with my partner, Victoria. As an active participant in our union, I am passionate about advocating for fair labour rights and am determined to make a positive impact for all members through my efforts. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with and for each member of our local.

I have been a part of our local since 2013. I have been a trustee, and now our communication officer. I have been in a couple of committees for CUPE Saskatchewan, and a CUPE national committee. My job as a communication officer is to work on and update our website, operate the hybrid meetings, send out email alerts, and be the person who can get members in contact to the right person in the executive.

Equality statement
Union solidarity is based on the principle that union members are equal and deserve mutual respect at all levels. Any behaviour that creates conflict prevents us from working together to strengthen our union.
As unionists, mutual respect, cooperation and understanding are our goals. We should neither condone nor tolerate behaviour that undermines the dignity or self-esteem of any individual or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment.
Discriminatory speech or conduct which is racist, sexist, transphobic or homophobic hurts and thereby divides us. So too, does discrimination on the basis of ability, age, class, religion, language and ethnic origin.
Sometimes discrimination takes the form of harassment. Harassment means using real or perceived power to abuse, devalue or humiliate. Harassment should not be treated as a joke. The uneasiness and resentment that it creates are not feelings that help us grow as a union.
Discrimination and harassment focus on characteristics that make us different; and they reduce our capacity to work together on shared concerns such as decent wages, safe working conditions, and justice in the workplace, society and in our union.
CUPE’s policies and practices must reflect our commitment to equality. Members, staff and elected officers must be mindful that all persons deserve dignity, equality and respect.
