- Occupational Health and Safety Committee (1 position)
Standing Committee positions appointed though this process are for term ending March 2027.
Conditions of Appointment
The Successful candidate must commit to attend periodic in-person and video conference (Zoom) meetings. Union leave may be required to attend such meetings. There are typically up to four (4) meetings in a calendar year. The meeting schedule is published by the CUPE Saskatchewan office, with meeting notices and video conference links circulated by the office.
The committee meeting schedule is as follows:
- Next meeting: January 9, 2026 (via Zoom, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
- May 211, 2026 (In-Person, Regina, at 9:30 a.m. for the day)
- September 25, 2026 (via Zoom, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
- November 26, 2026 (via Zoom, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
- January 14, 2027 (via Zoom, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
Appointees will be compensated for lost wages though union leave from work when required to attend meetings including costs and expenses related to the attendance of meetings (such as per diems). Virtual meetings are ineligible for per diem and travels expense claims.
