Pink for LINC

Saskatoon Teachers’ Association are doing a campaign for their bargaining. During the days that teachers are bargaining at the Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools (GSCS) table, teachers wear pink to show solidarity and support for the LINC bargaining process with their employer.

  • Purpose: To show support for teachers’ local bargaining teams during the LINC process.
  • Significance: To demonstrate unity and highlight the importance of the negotiations for working conditions.
  • Who participates: Teachers from both GSCS and SPS. We encourage that members of CUPE 3730 also wear pink to show solidarity with the teachers.
  • How to participate: Wear pink on days when LINC teams are in negotiations. Depending on schools teachers may have a pink fabric square you can wear instead of buying a pink shirt for yourself.

The next Pink for LINC day is December 1st.
